About me.

.

Professional memberships and registrations.

I am a full clinical member of the UKCP, in recognition of my MSc in Psychotherapy as well as years of clinical experience. UKCP full clinical membership indicates that I have fulfilled robust training requirements, honour the UKCP’s ethical and professional codes of practice and deliver services of the highest standard.

I am an Accredited member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.) Accreditation is a higher quality standard for more experienced therapists. To become accredited, BACP members must complete many hours of training, practice and supervision and go through a rigorous application and assessment process.

Qualifications.

I hold a Masters degree (MSc) in Psychotherapy, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from The University of Brighton, as well as a conversion degree in Psychology, and BA (Hons) degree in Management.

I am specifically trained and qualified to work with Couples, and hold the Relate Certificate in Relational Counselling.

My training has focussed on Psychodynamic therapy, and has included a number of different therapeutic approaches (person-centred, relational, CBT). When working with you, I will integrate the most appropriate approach according to your individual needs.

My background

I have worked for more than 20 years in large corporate organisations, within senior roles in the UK and overseas. I therefore understand some of the stresses and strains of corporate life and the difficulties that may arise from trying to balance the demands of work with other important aspects of your life.
